The choice of grinding parameters have important influences on workpiece surface temperature distributions.Contrast experiments on grinding temperature of nano-ZrO2 under common and two-dimensional ultrasonic vibration grinding(TDUVG)were carried out in this paper by using manual thermocouple method.The relationship between grinding depth and grinding temperature was clarified through theoretical analysis and experiment confirmation.While the grinding depth exceeds the critical grinding depth,the removal mechanism of ceramic materials has been changed from the plastic into brittle,and grinding temperature significantly increased.Alternatively,the grinding temperature of different nano-ZrO2 ceramic materials sizes were also experimental researched and analyzed
